Bringing Spooky Style to My Shelving, Mantel, and Kitchen
Halloween is my absolute favorite time to get creative with decor, and this year, I’ve had so much fun transforming my shelving, mantel, and kitchen into stylish yet spooky spaces. People always ask me, "Where do you find all these cute Halloween decorations?" I’ve picked up pieces from all over, and I love mixing them in ways that feel cohesive yet festive. Let me show you how it all came together!
Let’s start with my shelving—it’s the perfect spot to showcase some of my favorite Halloween pieces. This year, I’ve gone all out with black birds, owls, and even a full-size skeleton that brings an eerie vibe to the whole room. I’ve mixed in white pumpkins to balance the darker tones, along with spooky black trees that add height and drama to the display. For a little extra spook factor, I’ve included a few ghoulish figures that bring a playful touch. The key here was to create layers with different textures and heights, so everything feels cohesive and balanced while giving off a stylishly spooky vibe.
Shelving: Subtle Halloween Touches with Style
My favorite part? The skeleton sitting comfortably in a chair, complete with a cozy throw blanket and pillow. It’s like he’s settled in to enjoy the spooky season with me! I’ve surrounded him with pumpkins on the floor, which add warmth and balance to the eerie vibe.
Mantel: A Haunting Hallows Eve Display
The mantel really comes alive on Hallows Eve. Cream-colored candles flicker softly, casting those perfect eerie shadows across the room. The spooky bat trimming lines the edges, like they’ve been there all night, waiting for something mysterious to happen. And, of course, my mischievous little Halloween gnome sits right in the middle, grinning like he knows something I don’t. Scattered mini pumpkins add a touch of warmth, balancing out the spooky vibe just right. It’s all set and ready for the Halloween spirit to begin!
Kitchen: A Simple Yet Fun Halloween Touch
In on corner, a black feathered wreath sits on the counter alongside a caution poisonous frame sign, accompanied by more pumpkins that bring everything together. Together, they create a fun and festive setting that perfectly embraces the Halloween spirit in my kitchen!
In an other corner, beautiful black and white ceramic pumpkins add a touch of elegance while capturing that spooky spirit. I changed out the greenery for vibrant autumn foliage, bringing in the warm colors of the season. One of my favorite pieces is a cute framed spider that adds a playful yet creepy vibe.
On my kitchen countertop, the centerpiece is a bold "31 October" block that instantly grabs attention. Around it, the playful "If the Broom Fits!" witch’s broom stands tall, joined by fun word blocks like the cheeky "Broom Parking" sign. A black tree with twinkling lights casts an eerie yet festive glow, pulling everything together for a perfectly spooky Halloween setup.
